The Rainbow Clinic is a private Occupational Therapy practice based in Charlestown NSW. We share our inspiring clinic space in a multi-disciplinary collaboration with the brilliant team of Psychologists from The Willow Tree Clinic.
We are looking for a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our quickly expanding team.
The position involves working with children and young adults with varying conditions including: Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders, Dyspraxia, Down Syndrome, developmental delays and motor, learning or behavioural difficulties.

Key selection criteria include:
- Enjoy working with children and passionate about a family-centred approach.
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior Occupational Therapists.
- Ability to carry out assessment and intervention for children in areas of self-care, sensory processing and motor skills.
- Excellent report writing skills and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Equally effective working both independently and with a team.
- Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration.
- Current working with children check, police check and first aid certificate.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to continuing professional education and evidence-based practice.
Desired criteria:
- Minimum 3 years of Paediatric Occupational Therapy.
- Willingness to be on the road (own car) and current NSW driver’s licence.
The position includes:
- $500 Annual Continuous Professional Development allowance.
- Regular ongoing supervision.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Travel allowance.
- Flexible working arrangements.
The Rainbow Clinic is willing to negotiate hours/days of work with full or part time options available (with a preference for full time). Salary will be set depending on paediatric experience.
